At FarmSudz we are carrying on a practice deeply rooted in African tradition. Our Primal Clean black soap is so effective at soothing unhappy skin (such as acne, seborrheic dermatitis, eczema, psoriasis, burns and rosacea) that we can’t keep it on the shelves.
Ose Dudu, or African Black Soap dates back centuries. Traditional African black soap was a soft, brownish-black, rough-looking soap whose recipe varied from tribe to tribe and was passed on by word of mouth. Through our extensive research, we have learned that the "traditional" recipes were lost to time. However, the rough-look, color, texture, and knowledge of the principal ingredients have survived. Today’s recipes still contain cocoa pods – said to be a healing agent, and plantain extract, which has natural antibacterial properties that among other things, may help treat acne breakouts.

I use this black soap on my face daily. Some face cleansers causes a mild case of rosacea on my cheeks. Ose Dudu does not!! I love it!
